New Record Set by Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry
Negaunee High School recently hosted a Feeding America Mobile Food Pantry event in which they had an overwhelming turnout. There was 21,000 pounds of food available, about 15,000 of which was fresh produce.
Within two hours, it was all gone to the over 400 families who lined up to receive it. This was the high school’s biggest turnout ever for this event, more than doubling the number of families and food from last spring’s event, according to principal Mark Marana.
